Geocache Description:

Christ Church, Upper Tean is within the Uttoxeter Area of Parishes and in the Diocese of Lichfield.  The church was built in 1843 and designed by Thomas Johnson of Lichfield who also designed Heath House nearby.  The village grew up around the tape mill on the high street and many of the workers would have attended the church.  During WWII the mill was one of the few that provided tape for parachutes.

The cache has a home next the to bugs, take care sliding the window open and beware of muggles.  Please initial log and replace as found.  (No pencil provided)

There is space in the road for several cars to park, although this road can be busy at certain times of the day.

(This was the first geocache placed by us and back then we were not aware of the Church Micro Series.  Now we're on 280 finds and glad to finally move this over to the series)

Cache placed with the kind permission of Rev J Cant.
