Geocache Description:

This is a resurrection of our previous Thorney Hill Village Hall cache. The gates are now locked so we have made thisa jig saw Puzzle cache . The picture for the first jig saw is the picture we used on the orginal cache page, as it is difficult to take another from outside the gate facing the sun .

This hall is a charity run community hall, registered as a charity on 20th June 2003,which runs to serve the community of Thorney Hill and surrounding areas .The original hall was an ex-army hut. The hall was rebuilt from funding donated by local companies and the Lottery Heritage Fund.

Please note This cache has been placed in accordance with the New Forest Forestry England Permission Agreement . GAGB Agreement for the Forestry England New Forest and East Dorset.
N.B. as part of this agreement it is not permitted to seek this cache during the hours of darkness.
Please do not leave any edible items

The nearest designated car park to the final cache location is at N 50° 47.569' W 1° 42.199.

Please note that the grass verges along Forest Road are designated S.S.S.I.areas and cars should not be parked on them.

The cache location is close to a minor path in a Holly wood. The container is a small clip lock labeled "Geocache Contents Harmless"
