This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
This lovely old building is one of Kybybolite's original buildings. Kybybolite is situated in the South East of South Australia, in the Hundred of Binnum, not too far from Naracoorte and on the now defunct Mount Gambier - Wolseley railway line. The name of Kybybolite was given to the settlement in 1849.
Naracoorte and Lucindale council website states that in settlements in the District with no church the local Institute was used. As the Institute is one of the longest standing buildings in the town and with no Churches the Institute here would have been used as a place of worship for the local community.
To find the nearby geocache complete the details of the coordinates from the red sign on the small shed on Bradley Ave to the left of the Institute.
The 4 digit number on the sign is ABCD
