It has been my goal this summer to get to Discovery Island. Finally as the summer ends and fall starts, I have completed the journey. To celebrate the occasion and to entice others to visit this gem of a island, I placed a cache. My fellow travellers (Benicha and Madill) assisted in this endeavour. Benicha also placed her bonus Adventure Lab on the island. One of the lab locations is near the cache. Access to the island should ONLY be attempted in good weather and with a favourable weather forecast. There are strong tides in area. The round trip on the water is about 10km, if you launch at Cattle Point. The cache is located on the West end of the park.
