PADOVA ABBANDONATA
Questa serie di cache vi porterà alla scoperta di alcuni luoghi abbandonati di Padova e dintorni.
Purtroppo Padova (e sopratutto la zona termale) presenta alcuni di questi edifici (case, hotel, palazzi, ecc), i quali hanno comunque il loro fascino, perché si sa… tutti almeno una volta nella nostra vita abbiamo desiderato esplorare uno di questi luoghi.
Tutte le cache si trovano all’esterno degli edifici. **NON STIAMO INVITANDO AD ENTRARE**
Villa Rigoni Savioli nasce come Villa Moro Malipiero commissionata dallo stesso nel 1557, durante la prima guerra mondiale fu sede del Comando Supremo del generale Armando Diaz vi è una targa in pietra che ricorda l'evento su di uno dei cancelli principali della villa.
Il complesso presenta altri importanti corpi di fabbrica, come la chiesetta, situata all'estremità della proprietà, affacciata a via Diaz, e la torre colombaia.
La prima rappresenta un pregevole esempio di sacello antico, dai connotati d'impianto ancora ben conservati, dispone di una facciata particolarmente ricercata, caratterizzata da quattro semi colonne ioniche che sorreggono una trabeazione e un frontone modanati. L'interno conserva un bel altare ornato da tre sculture a tuttotondo raffiguranti una Madonna con Bambino e due angeli.
Consigliamo di svolgere la serie in notturna…. e in compagnia.

ABANDONED PADUA
This series of caches will take you to discover some abandoned places in Padua and its surroundings.
Unfortunately Padua (and above all the spa area) has some of these buildings (houses, hotels, palaces, etc.), which still have their charm, because you know ... everyone at least once in our life wanted to explore one of these places .
All caches are located outside the buildings. ** WE ARE NOT INVITING YOU TO ENTER **
Villa Rigoni Savioli was established as Villa Moro Malipiero commissioned by the same in 1557, during the First World War it was the seat of the Supreme Command of General Armando Diaz there is a stone plaque commemorating the event on one of the main gates of the villa.
The complex has other important buildings, such as the small church, located at the end of the property, overlooking via Diaz, and the dovecote tower.
The first represents a valuable example of an ancient chapel, with the characteristics of a still well-preserved structure, has a particularly refined facade, characterized by four Ionic semi columns that support a molded entablature and pediment. The interior retains a beautiful altar decorated with three sculptures in the round depicting a Madonna with Child and two angels.
We recommend to play the series at night…. and in company.
