I was at this 7-11 with a friend of mine whom I only know through Geocaching. I do not have any other associations with him besides this.
We were standing at the side of the building when he commented to me that this location is on the 106-107° of the 360° challenge (GC5A4D4) and it would be beneficial to other cachers, not him, if there were a cache here. Our conversation went as follows
Me: What a great idea, I could put one here and name it "______ needs 106-107°."
Him: No, I am going to get GC1705, which is also on 106-107° and much more a challenge to my liking. I don’t want you to do anything like set up a cache just so that I can get this challenge done. I was merely bringing it up for the benefit of other cachers. Also, I would rather you not attach my name to any cache you place here. People would think that you set it up for me.
Me: Are you sure? I could name it “_______ had me place a cache here for the benefit of other cachers”
Him: No.
I agreed to this and decided on a spot to put a cache and made a container for it. Since I put it underneath a power meter, I figured “Tracking Electricity Device” is a great name for it. It has no other connotation besides what the cache is attached to.
It should be a pretty easy container to get. I attached the bag to the container in an effort to have a stable place for the log. Please try not to tear it out and please make sure you close it when you put thenlog back in.Use stealth as I am sure there are prying eyes in the nearby building. Also make sure to bring your own pen.
Congratulations to HikingSeal on being First to Find!
