Balgownie Wetlands
This is definitely a hidden gem in Whanganui. An amazing spot that used to be the city landfill site, however it now has a number of native plantings and a walkway.
Enjoy a nice gentle stroll through the trees with an easily identifiable track.
After walking back from placing our first cache here, Arcane Jr wanted to place a cache of his own. Once the cache has been located you can either go back to the walking track or continue along the fence line until you reach Balgownie Wetlands #1.
Cache has room for log only so please bring your own pen/cil.
