Back in January of 04 we had a clean up event here. It was actually listed as an event cache (GCHC48) because CITO events weren't a thing yet. You would not believe the amount of trash and car parts we pulled off of this hill. Because back in the day, long before all the commercial buildings were here, the fields and this hill were a regular hang out for off roaders. I may or may not have participated in such events. At any rate the hill gets very little use now except for the occasional hiker, and me. I am up here often continuing my assault on the invasive fennel plants. There are two deer who are up here all the time so don't be surprised to see them, as well as Bobcats, Coyotes, and Rattlesnakes. But what you shouldn't find here is trash. So when you get to the sign you'll see a rock behind it, that's not the cache. But what you need to sign the cache IS under it. So once you have that just give the cache a flip and sign away! Please put everything back as it should be.
