This cache has been placed to highlight The Jet Age Museum. The Jet Age Museum opened here in 2013 (having been on various sites since 1986). The museum tells the story of jet planes dating back to Britain's first jet plane, the Gloster E.28/39 built locally by the Gloster Aircraft Company. The museum contains historic planes, historic cockpits and models. The museum is free to visit.
I recommend a visit after checking the museum opening times - it's mainly weekend-only opening. If visiting, the museum has plenty of parking when it's open.
Access is good by public transport. Otherwise there's a layby west of the cache in the west-bound direction if you need to park. Stay safe searching - you can stay within the safe fenced area.
Cache is a micro - please bring a pen and tweezers and remember to hide carefully afterwards.
