Nachdem euch der Adventure-Cache "Kunst an Gebäuden der TU Dresden" zu einigen Beispielen baugebundener Kunst auf dem TU-Campus geführt hat, gibt es noch diesen kleinen Bonus.
Bei erfolgreicher Absolvierung des Adventures habt ihr vier Zahlenwerte (A - D) erhalten, die ihr für die Berechnung der Bonuskoordinaten braucht. E und F sind in der Umgebung der Listing-Koordinaten dieses Bonus-Caches zu ermitteln.
Hier steht ihr vor fünf Wohnheimen, die Anfang der 50er Jahre für Studenten der nahegelegenen Arbeiter- und Bauernfakultät errichtet wurden. Diese befand sich bis 1961 im großen Gebäudekomplex Weberplatz 5, der ebenfalls beginnend in den 50er Jahren errichtet wurde. Die Wohnheime werden jetzt vom Studentenwerk genutzt und in den Gebäude Weberplatz 5 befindet sich die Fakultät Erziehungswissenschaften der TU Dresden. Mehr Infos findet ihr an zwei Tafeln, die sich links neben Eingang 41d und an der Schränke in der Nähe des Hauses 41 befinden.
Bemerkenswert an den Wohnheimgebäuden sind die Giebelgestaltungen. Es handelt sich dabei um zwei Lochsteinmosaike von Heinrich Rettich an den Häusern 41 und 41a und um drei Fresken von Eva Schulze-Knabe an den Häusern 41b - 41d. Diese Putzschnitte sind bis zu 9 x 3 m groß und die Staffelung der Figurengruppen in den Fresken nimmt die Dreiecksform des Giebels auf. Die restaurierte großformatigen Darstellungen in ihrer klar umrissenen Zweifarbigkeit sind auch von größerer Entfernung gut zu erkennen.
Die Lochsteinmosaike stellen eine Bäuerin (41a) und einen Schmied (41) dar.
Themen der Fresken sind "Szenen des Maschinenbaustudiums" (41b) und "Architektonischer Wiederaufbau Dresdens" (41c). Das Thema des Freskos an Haus 41d sollte auch klar sein.
Der BW des 4. Buchstabens der dargestellten Wissenschaft ergibt E.
Schließlich ist der Wert für F an Eingang A von Haus 41 zu ermitteln. Welche Buchstabe (BW) steht unter der kleinen runden Lampe?

Introductory text of the Adventure
After World War II, 85% of the buildings of the former TH Dresden were damaged or destroyed. Next to the reconstruction, some striking new buildings were constructed in the 50s and 60s, which still characterize the TU campus today in their functional and straightforward architectural style. These include the Barkhausen-Bau, the ensemble of Willers-, Trefftz- and Recknagel-Bau, Merkel-Bau and parts of the Alte Mensa. The Schönfeld lecture hall, completed in 1965, is impressive. Funds were also provided for the artistic design of the interior and the surrounding area. Many wall decorations and sculptures still bear witness to this today. Important artists of the time contributed to the design of the TU campus. We would like to lead you to five places (recommended last station: Willers-Bau) where you can view construction-related art. Not spectacular, but definitely worth seeing. The motifs are also an expression of the technical and scientific spirit of optimism of that time.

Here you stand in front of five dormitories, which were built in the early 50s for students of the nearby Workers and Farmers Faculty. Until 1961, these were located in the large building complex Weberplatz 5, which was also built in the early 1950s.
Remarkable on the dormitory buildings are the gable designs. These are two perforated stone mosaics by Heinrich Rettich on houses 41 and 41a and three frescoes by Eva Schulze-Knabe on houses 41b - 41d. These plaster cuts measure up to 9 x 3 m and the staggering of the groups of figures in the frescos takes up the triangular shape of the gable. The restored large-format representations in their clearly defined two-tone colours can be easily recognized even from a greater distance.
The perforated stone mosaics portray a peasant woman (41a) and a blacksmith (41).
The themes of the frescoes are "Scenes from the study of mechanical engineering" (41b) and "Architectural reconstruction of Dresden" (41c). The theme of the fresco on house 41d should also be clear.
