GoodSamNurse: Came here today to check out the area and to assess the situation for myself. I know there's a heatwave, but the family activities in this area was quite ridiculous with kids from several families splashing all through out the water. I think the signs say No Swimming in Lakes and Ponds, so I guess this doesn't qualify as either one and is OK? I guess if fly fishers can be in the water, why not everyone else?
There was a family set up with a hammock and camping equipment right above the new GZ which was not where it was hidden originally, so I'm thinking campers have been messing around in this area and is no longer a good spot for a cache.
I thank Bill very much for the very kind gesture to keep this in play in a popular area where many out of towners visit for Gerbil and other area caches. It was a very nice cache to find and well stocked, but it is now removed and I will hide it somewhere else with the same title.
