Geocache Description:


Connaught Water is a stunning, ten-acre lake located within Epping Forest, one of the largest forests in the country and the biggest wooded area around London. The water is named after the Duke of Connaught, the first-ever ranger of Epping Forest. This is a SSSI site, please take care when retrieving this cache not to damage your surroundings.

With thanks to the Epping Forest Open Spaces Department and the City of London Corporation for allowing us to place this cache.

Please bring a pen to sign the log book and replace back in the same location out of sight.
