Villa Mylius è una villa nobiliare del XVIII secolo presente a Sesto San Giovanni. Si tratta della tipica villa di delizia, nobile dimora suburbana per soggiorni e villeggiature. Costruita alla metà del XVIII secolo, divenne all'inizio del XIX secolo di proprietà della famiglia Mylius, da cui prende il nome. Nel 1921 venne acquistata dal comune di Sesto San Giovanni e divenne prima sede del municipio, poi nel 1954 della polizia municipale. Attualmente ospita la fondazione ISEC.
Negli anni sia la villa che il vicino Giardino didattico sono state oggetto di vari interventi di restauro: nel 2004 l'antistante largo La Marmora è stato completamente riqualificato installando una fontana disegnata dall'artista Kengiro Azuma, allievo di Marino Marini. La fontana era originariamente destinata a piazza IV Novembre, ma la sua collocazione in largo La Marmora fu giudicata più consona.

Purtroppo non si hanno più sue notizie da dieci giorni... Fortunatamente, data la lentezza per cui sono celebri, non dovrebbe essere andata troppo lontano.
Per trovarla ti basta sapere che l'ultima volta che è stata vista, era andata a godersi un po' di ombra sotto un "fungo" ad est... Per farlo ci ha messo quasi un giorno intero!
Le altre tartarughe dicono che volesse viaggiare seguendo la strada verso nord, per un numero di giorni pari al numero di panche in pietra meno il numero di lettere del cognome dell'artista; 345°
poi sul sentiero ad ovest per tanti giorni quanto la metà dei blocchi che compongono la fontana, senza contare gli isolotti centrali. 250°
Dopo tanto viaggiare sarà stanca, di sicuro avrà cercato un bel posto all'ombra!
Villa Mylius is an 18th century noble villa located in Sesto San Giovanni. It is the typical villa di delizie, a noble suburban residence for stays and vacations. Built in the mid-18th century, it became property of the Mylius family at the beginning of the 19th century, from which it's got its name. In 1921 it was purchased by the municipality of Sesto San Giovanni and first became the seat of the town hall, then in 1954 of the local police. It currently houses the ISEC foundation.
Over the years, both the villa and the nearby didactic garden have undergone various restorations: in 2004 the adjacent Largo La Marmora was completely redeveloped by installing a fountain designed by artist Kengiro Azuma, a pupil of Marino Marini. The fountain was originally intended for Piazza IV Novembre, but its location in Largo La Marmora was deemed more appropriate.

Unfortunately we haven't heard from her in ten days ... Luckly, given the slow pace for which they are famous, she shouldn't have gone too far.
To find her, you just need to know that the last time it was seen, she went to enjoy a bit of shade under a "mushroom" to the east ... It took almost a whole day to do so!
The other turtles say she wanted to travel along the north road, for a number of days equal to the number of stone benches minus the number of letters of the artist's surname; 345°
then follow the west path for as many days as half the blocks that make up the fountain, not counting the central islands. 250°
After so much traveling she will be tired, for sure she must have looked for a nice place in the shade!
