St Mary Magdalene Church, known as St. Mary's Parish Church was built in 1928 as a replacement parish church for St Mary the Virgin Church which is the smallest complete church in Essex. As Frinton-on-Sea was rapidly expanding in the interwar period, a larger, more modern church was required. The new building seats 300 people, and has flint external walls with red brick quoins and string courses and Perpendicular Gothic style windows, under a pitched plain clay tile roof.
The cache is placed on a footpath, there is no requirement to enter church grounds.
