Cache is not at the posted coordinates, but will bring you to a location where you can begin your search.
Letterbox hybrids are among my favorite types to search for because it provides a slight break from the usual compass routine that leads you right to the cache. As in traditional letterboxing, you'll need to rely on clues that will lead you to the area of the cache approximately 0.2 miles from the parking area, where you can begin your search. You'll be rewarded with a good sized cache loaded with swag. Original contents include some trinkets, a small notebook from a library in the Netherlands (this is a trade item for someone to take if they wish, not the log book), and more! Please do not remove the stamp and ink pad; those must remain in the cache. Feel free to stamp your own log book if you also letterbox. As always practice stealth when others are around and have fun! Park hours are 5am to 10pm.
Directions
The posted coordinates will take you to the parking area for Mary Moore Searight Park. Start out at the restroom building directly adjacent to the parking lot.
If you are facing the restroom with the parking lot behind you, go right.
Look for a smelly sign with a puppy on it. At this sign, take the trail to the left.
Cross over the low water creek and continue straight through the next fork.
You will shortly after pass a house on your right; continue on.
You'll encounter a side trail to your left with a triangle of grass. Turn left here. The edge of goat/animal pen should be on your right.
On this side trail, take about 25 steps, then turn left and go around the large tree to your left.
This clearing is where you will begin your search. See hint for a big spoiler if you need it.
Alternatively, you can project the posted coordinates at an angle of 218.477 degrees for 613.517 feet to get the final coordinates.
Any feedback on the instructions is welcome!
