Geocache Description:

In a picnic area just off Hwy 77

We live in south-west Ellis County between North and South Chambers Creek. They merge just below Maypearl and then flows to this area. From here it flows into Richland-Chambers Reservoir and then on to the Trinity River.

Just north of the Chambers Creek crossing there is a nice little picnic area with a historic marker. On the marker it tells the name of the person the creek is named for. What is that persons full name? Log your visit and then E-mail your answer to verify the find. Don't post it here even if encrypted.

There is a neat old railroad bridge to the east of the highway as it crosses the creek. MKT I believe, or maybe part of the interurban line?

Wrong answers or people who do not email us will have their logs deleted. Have fun!
