This cache series is named for our Harry Potter lovin’ flock of chickens. They are aptly named, enthusiastic Potterheads.
Next Up In The Flock: Muggle, Easter Egger Hen
Employ your Geo-Stealth to avoid the attention of Muggles. You know…those non-magical folk and (GASP) non-geocachers. EEK!
Easter Eggers are a variety of chicken that lay eggs that vary in shade from blue to green to olive to aqua and sometimes even pink! Muggle lays beautiful blue eggs. You can pick up her eggs, but good luck catching our Easter Eggers without a magic wand.
When you find the cache, cast your best Muggle-Repelling Spell - “Repello Muggletum!”
This cache is an ammo can located on the yellow loop trail. You can pick up the trail a short distance from the parking lot. It's not too far up, as to make it a little more accessible for geo-kiddos. It's tucked in pretty good at the coordinates. GPS can be bouncy here. See hint for more details if you wish. The coordinates had about 10' difference between ATT and Verizon devices.
All Aboard the Hogwarts Eggspress! Bock, Bock!
We wanted to place a family-friendly series with kiddos in mind. Please send a note with any maintenance issues so that we can keep the caches in good condition. Wet log books and soggy swag are bummers. This cache series ranges from micros to large (ammo can) containers with room for trades.
Enjoy the Park!
This cache is available from sunrise to sunset. Placed With Permission, Smithfield Township.
