A new type of cache series, REALLY church micro'd, not sure if anyone else has thought of it but I thought I'd celebrate old buildings and places and share a bit of their history for fellow cachers.
Trinity Methodist church (or Primitive) was demolished in the 1970s (according to a few locals). Looking at the old photos of Derby road from the time when it stood gave the main road through Stapleford a bit of character in my opinion. The site is now occupied by a new building but retains the angle of the plot of land that the church used to sit on. The new building comprises of (L to R currently) An optician, A charity shop and a mortgage brokers
Parking can be found in the nearby public car parks (free for 1 hour).
