This cache is hidden inside Adkins Arboretum, a 400-acre native garden and plant preserve located in the Chesapeake Bay region. While here, explore the Arboretum's 5-mile trail system and enjoy beautiful views of native wetland, meadow, forest, and stream habitat. Wide, smooth paths make access to this cache a breeze. Along the way, wave hello to our goat herd!
Adkins Arboretum is open from dawn until dusk. Should you arrive before our gates are unlocked at 10 am, feel free to park outside of them and walk in.
Note: Due to COVID-19, the Visitor's Center will be closed until spring of 2021. Visit our website, www.adkinsarboretum.org, for the latest updates. The nearest available restrooms are located at the Tuckahoe State Park lake area, five minutes from the Arboretum by car or 1.5 miles by foot.
