This cache is an easy two stage multi. I hope it provides enjoyment.
I am trying to place caches in all the new apartment complexes and neighborhoods going up in the area. I recently placed two caches near new housing developments. One next to a brand new apartment complex (Camouflage Cache #2: Up Up and A-Where? (GC8Z5FH)) and another nearby in a newly completed townhouse neighborhood (Camouflage Cache #3: On the Other Side (GC8Z5GG)). This will be the third installment in this informal series.
At the time I am placing this cache, the townhomes and apartments are still in progresss, and the little park behind where it is located has just been completed. It is a relative ghost town, since not many people have moved into the houses, and no one really knows about this park. With all its ammeneties, I don't think it will stay this undescovered for long. Maybe once you find this cache, it is booming.
The reason for the name of the cache is because this whole park, along with all the townhouses and apartments used to be dense woods. That is also part of the reason for its placement, which is to commemorate the forest that once grew here. Although it has been replaced with housing and a beuatiful park, a part of me wishes that it was still the old woods.
Anyway, away from the memories. Focusing on the present, this park is actually really nice. It also has one of the better playgrounds in this area (and I know many of the playgrounds around here). I would strongly recommend you bring your kids. S1 is an other size, and hopefully gives you a bit of a challenge. It is homemade. The end container is big enough to fit a decent amount of SWAG and definitely some smaller trackables.
