Geocache Description:

24 October 2020, 12:00 - 14:00

CCC Nite DURING THE DAY.

It's our 15th CCC Anniversary!

Sat Oct 24th    Meet at 12 noon.

Rain date:  Sun Oct 25th 12 noon

It's hard to believe it's been 15 years!!  Due to current circumstances, we thought a nice outdoor, socially distanced walk was in order.  We picked a spot accessible to one of the founders of the Central CT Cachers, Miles Stone, aka willonwheels.  It also happens to be Mile Stone's birthday this month.

The coords will bring you to the parking lot of the campground at Hammonassett State park.  The parking lot is on the right just after the toll booths.  There is a paved trail nearby and we will take a stroll.

The Central Connecticut Cacher’s Night Out is an evening gathering on the second Tuesday of every month (well, most months anyway). Mark your calendars now! Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher...new folks are most welcome! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted. This event features new or rotating hosts every month, and changing locations. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid. As host, you’ll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. There are a number of places in the Greater Hartford area to enjoy good food and drinks. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central CT area.  Please note, there is a Facebook group for The Central CT Cachers for updates on local caching.
