Welcome to beautiful Kapok Park, a scenic gem in the City of Clearwater. The trail through the park is largely paved, and features boardwalks, picnic areas, and plenty of chances to observe local wildlife along Alligator Creek. The trail connects with the Ream Wilson Trail as well as nearby Cliff Stephens Park.
Formerly named "A Frog Swallowed My Cache", the original frog did not survive when his hiding place was cleared out. Now froggy is back and he's given up his cache swallowing habit. Dirt has been brought in to fill the part of the trail that used to flood, so now you can approach two different ways. Please bring your own pen to sign the log and obey all posted notices regarding park rules and regulations.
Happy caching!
