Saturday, 19 October 2002, 5:00pm (17:00hrs). On the Northeast corner of Blackstone & Herndon in north Fresno.
We've all seen the names - Frodo & Sam, Navtalk, Pilgrim & Rhubarb & Sweet Pea, Katheryn, Lehi & Sariah, Great Scott, Kewaneh & Shark, just to name a few. Who are all of these people, and why did their parents punish them by giving them such strange names? (With exception going to Katheryn; her folks did fine.)
Let's find out about the names and put some faces with them by having a get together on Saturday, 19 October 2002, at 5:00pm (17:00hrs). Being the planners that Great Scott & I are, we thought that a gathering at a local eatery might work out best for everyone, this way everyone can order whatever they're in the mood for, and as much, or little, of it as they want. (Ever try to order pizza for a large group of people?) We can swap caching stories, give each other ideas and encouragement on how/where to place new caches, and tell lies about how accurate our GPS units are. Ideas for future event caches are encouraged too!
Everyone is welcome. Please post a note on the cache page so we can get some sort of head count. (Some resturants get nervous when big groups show up unannounced.)
Also, feel free to add the cache to your watch list so you can be notified if there are any changes or updates to the event.
