Before this bridge over Barnards Creek was upgraded it had white wooden railings and was colloquially known as the White Bridge. When the C.O. and his brother received their first bicycles and had proved their proficiency in riding them they were permitted to ride as far as the "White Bridge" and back. Obviously we both spent many a happy hour exploring under the bridge and the pools in Barnards Creek.
Once you are at G.Z. you are further that we were permitted to ride.
Care should be taken as this can be a busy road. There is parking off the road at G.Z.
