Ocean View Picnic Traditional Cache

Here we have a picnic table well placed for a lovely picnic, or just a rest, with fabulous ocean views.  It is situated on the water side of a fabulous walking track that stretches from the boat ramp at Port Sorrel to the Surf Life Saving Club at Hawley Beach.  The log is contained in a second container within the cache in an effort to keep it dry. The walking track is wide and very suitable for cycling. The beach view here varies dramatically with the tide.  At a very low tide you can walk out to the island you can see directly to the east but be careful, when the tide turns, it comes inquickly.
