There was a cache named "Skorpio" at this place when I moved into this area more than 4 years ago. But I never found it and others also logged DNFs so that it was finally archived in 2019. But I always thought this is a nice place which deserves a cache. So I finally decided to place a new one to let others enjoy the views over Salt Lake Valley or the nearby mountains. You're looking for a black taped honey jar. There is no pen, so bring your own.
There is a bench which allows you to take a break. Think about sitting there and watching the firworks at Independence Day or Pioneer Day in July. Or just enjoy one of the many sunsets over the valley and the western mountain range.
You can hike the trail or you can ride your mountain bike. It's a popular trail and also kids are able to have fun. You can access it from different places and my additional waypoints are just some recommendations.
I hope you enjoy my first cache.
