Bilsthorpe village hall is due to under go a substantial refurbishment with 77 different things in the hall, due to be modernised. Plans were approved in October 2019 but as yet, they remain unstarted.
Directly behind the village hall is Bilsthorpe Heritage Centre, dedicated to telling the story of the former Bilsthorpe Colliery, which was open from 1927-1997.
