The bonus cache will take you to a view of the fields of Phillips Farm. The Phillips Farm was established about 1798 and stayed in the Phillips family until the 1950's. In 2003 the Waterford Foundation purchased the the 144 acre farm to preserve the farm and the pastural setting of Waterford. Phillips Farm is a registered Monarch Butterfly Waystation. A 1.5 roundtrip self-guiding Interpretative Trail starts behind the Old Mill that goes through the Phillips Farm. It details the natural and cultural history on the property, with numbered posts corresponding to points of interest.
The bonus cache is a short walk from the final stage of the Adventure Lab but the walk is not pedestrian friendly. There is ample parking if you decide to drive to it.
