Geocache Description:

The train park is located on the highway just as you enter the town of Lewisporte. The trail is mostly flat and clear enabling most people to travel over it. This is meant to be a fast and easy find you can do on your lunch break.

(The cache was a yellow 1 liter dessert topping container. It initially contained: blue highlighter, 3.5" diskette, keychain, set of 3 jumbo paperclips, blue post-it notes, and a kinder toy. The highlighter and diskette are best traded first, and they may be removed before it gets too cold.)

It is now a clear and well marked lock-and-lock container.

The trail carries on well past the cache, and you should walk the rest of it once you have made the find. It follows a stream making it a very enjoyable stroll in the woods. There are a couple picnic areas and a place where kids sometimes go swimming or fishing.

NOTE: This was checked on in mid-October 2003 and found in good shape where it was originally placed. The root it was under, however, was damaged, so for this reason it was moved about 5m north. New coordinates have been posted as of 2004-07-19.
