Bradwell Quarry Traditional Cache
Lactodorum: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll gladly unarchive it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Near an old clay quarry about 3 miles north of Newcastle-under-Lyme, close to Bradwell Wood. Area well used by locals for walking dogs and mountain-biking, but take care in poor light or with small children as there are some steep drops nearby. Keep to the well-trodden footpaths.
Panorama is a little industrial with views across northern Stoke-on-Trent.
Can be approached from several directions, including roundabout on A500 (Tunstall exit) or Parkhouse Industrial Estate off the A34.
The plastic container is wrapped in a green poly bag in a crevice at the bottom of a mature tree about 3m from the footpath.
An alternative and easier route is to park in Fearns Avenue and take the public footpath between the houses (N53 03.000 W002 13.860).
