Llanyrafon Mill, a Grade II listed building,is a Corn Mill which was part of the Manor of Edlogan.A Corn Mill was reputedly shown here on maps of the 14th Century,but the only firm evidence is dated 1632 when the Mill was owned by William Morgan (gent) of Llangibby.In1921 it was owned by the Laybourne family,who sold it to the then tenant miller Tom Wait.Tom worked the Mill until 1951 when it was purchased by Cwmbran Development Corporation.It is now run by The Friends of Llanyrafon Mill, who hope to have it fully working in the future.
