This cache is in an obvious location, so please use stealth. Driving right up and cavalierly searching for it will definitely attract attention that will ruin it for future cachers!
After more than 1000 found, it is time to start placing some caches. As our extended sojourn to Maryland stretches to more than half a year, I have noticed a complete lack of caches in Huntington, except for a few in the woods. It is time to rectify that.
These caches are placed in honor of the morning walks that I take with my partner and daughter. This is #1 in the series. This one is named in honor of the location on the border between official-Columbia and the outparcels that dot this section of Huntington along Vollmerhausen Drive. It is on a typical marker of Columbia, but looking right across at a similar typical symbol of not-Columbia, hence the name.
