Once upon a time a Knight from King Arthur’s Round Table was caught in a time warp while attempting to slay a dragon. The unfortunate warrior suddenly found himself in the Methow Valley in the year 1995. Attempting to regain some measure of familiarity he resorted to constructing his own castle as his new home.
Sadly, or perhaps not sadly, the time warp was of limited duration and shortly after the structure was occupied the Knight was snatched back into his own time, leaving the castle vacant and the bank holding title to the perhaps out of place building.
Since that time a number of folks have tried to live in the castle. Most have never been seen again and the supposition is that they, too, encountered the time warp and hopefully are enjoying their new lives in the past.
Cachers are advised not to enter the property.
Unless they too would relish a life in the dark ages.
