N0 3 Manor of Congresbury Boundary Stone
There were originally around thirty stones like this, defining the original parish boundary of Congresbury (pronounced “Congsbry”, by us locals). These stones were laid out sometime in the second half of the 18th Century.
They are shown on the First edition OS map of 1885.
This Stone was placed on what was marked as Land Lane. Today it is just a foot path.
