Geocache Description:

Calling All Adventurers!

I'm Ranger Rick Raccoon. My pals and I went geocaching and left behind a trail for you to follow. This geocache is part of a trail. When you find it, read the clue. Then try to guess which of Ranger Rick's pals has been there. Use the stamp found in the box to mark the answer on your passport.

To get your passport go to https://www.geocaching.com/articles/rangerricktrails/RangerRickTrails_Passport.pdf. To find the other geocaches on this trail, go to Ranger Rick Geotrails or search Creek Connections in geocaching.com.

NOTE: The geocaches on this trail include bonus activities to do on your adventure. To complete the activities, bring along a notebook, pen or pencil, crayons (for rubbings), and a camera.

This cache is on property owned by the French Creek Valley Conservancy (FCVC). We have permission to place this cache on the property.

This cache is maintained by Creek Connections, an environmental education project at Allegheny College. At the heart of Creek Connections is a collaboration between the college and teachers in western Pennsylvania and beyond for the purpose of encouraging STEM education through hands-on field and laboratory experiences. Allegheny College staff and students provide the framework and assistance for school-based investigative research in regional watersheds. Emphasizinga hands-on, inquiry based investigation of local waterways, this project annually involves over 40 different secondary schools and the classes of 50 teachers.
