US 1 North from Raleigh. To Oxford 158 West exit (just prior to getting on I-85). Follow 158/US 1 Business West/South until you see Satterwhite Point Road (there is a brown sign on your left) Right on Satterwhite Point Rd. Once in the park the group camp site on your right immediately after entering the park. If the group site is open turn in and look for a large field on your left. Park at the edge of the field and walk toward your coordinates. Pass the picnic table graveyard and you're almost there. If the group site is closed, pass the site entrance and park on the road side when your GPS says you're closest. You won't see the Picnic tables from the alternate parking so the theme will not apply. Happy hunting.
