This is the bonus cache for the Adventure Lab "The Labs"
This Adventure Lab will take you on a historic tour of Holmdel Bell Labs. All answer to the Adventure Lab can be found along the walls of the Cafe of Bell Works and is open to the public seven days a week. Monday – Sunday: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Dubbed "The Biggest Mirror Ever", the 2 million sq. ft. Bell Laboratories building was designed by architect Eero Saarinen, and constructed between 1959 and 1962. The layout has been studied in architecture colleges and universities as a model of modernist. The building is divided into four pavilions of labs and offices; each separated from the others by a cross-shaped atrium and is linked via sky-bridges and perimeter walkway.
"The Idea Factory", Holmdel’s Bell Laboratories, was not an office building. It was a campus and self-contained community. Unlike a factory that produced widgets, "The Labs" produced "ideas". While Bell Labs was the Research and Development part of Ma Bell, so many technologies where born here including UNIX operating system, C programming language, microwave communications, CCD video, fiber optics, and cellular phone technology.
Note about this Adventure Lab, this is not easy one, it's not brutally hard either, but there are some tricky questions that will take some searching and reading. All of the answer can be found around the perimeter of the café.
