Afhankelijk van het weer en jaargetijde kan het aan te raden zijn om niet met je netste schoenen naar (het laatste stukje van) de bonus te wandelen..... Maar dan krijg je ook wat. De eindlocatie leent zich uitermate om met lumiere, diafragma en, wanneer je old-school bent, celluloid aan de slag te gaan. Schroom niet om bij je log een mooie fotoplaat achter te laten
Ga omzichtig te werk, zorg dat je ongezien kan zoeken, loggen en berg de cache op de zelfde plek, uit het zicht en goed afgesloten weer op.
ps. Je dient deze cache fysiek, dus in het logboekje ter plekke, te loggen. Met andere woorden, online logs die niet in het logboekje worden teruggevonden zijn ongeldig en zullen periodiek worden verwijderd.

Adventure Lab Cache Lumièrepark
Behalve dat lumiere het Frans is voor licht verwijst het hier natuurlijk naar de gebroeders Lumière;
De gebroeders Lumière, waren Franse zakenlieden en filmpioniers. Met de uitvinding van de cinématographe, 's werelds eerste projectieapparaat, waren zij een van de grondleggers van de cinematografie. Louis Lumière wordt dan ook vaak "de vader van de cinema" genoemd.
En dus een toepasselijk naam voor dit park dat ingeklemd ligt tussen Filmwijk en het Weerwater. Het park is aardig op de schop gegaan om verder vorm te geven aan het 'rondje Weerwater' voor de sportievelingen onder ons.
Maar je mag deze simpele Adventure Lab Cache gewoon rustig wandelend afleggen, het is een mooi rondje door het park van ongeveer 2 a 2,5 km.
- De heuvel
Komend vanaf het Lumièrepad loop je de heuvel op via het Celluliodpad.
Celluloid is een groep chemische verbindingen op basis van nitrocellulose en kamfer plus kleurstoffen en hulpstoffen. Eind jaren 1880 werden celluloids voor fotografische films ontwikkeld. Hannibal Goodwin en Eastman Company verwierven beide een octrooi voor een film van celluloid. Goodwin won uiteindelijk de rechtszaak over de schending van zijn patent tegen de Eastman Kodak Company. Hoe dan ook, het belang zat niet zozeer in de fotofilm versus de fotografische plaat, maar in de betekenis van de film voor het vastleggen van bewegend beeld.
Je bent nu bij de heuvel met wat speeltoestellen en bovenop een mooi uitzicht.
- Het Lumièrestrand
Je bent hier via het diafragmapad aangekomen.
In de optica is een diafragma een (meestal ronde of veelhoekige) opening in de lichtbaan van een lens of objectief die een bepaalde hoeveelheid licht door kan laten of tegenhouden. Veel fototoestellen hebben een verstelbaar diafragma waardoor de hoeveelheid invallend licht kan worden veranderd. Bij een kleiner diafragma wordt de hoeveelheid doorgelaten licht kleiner en neemt de scherptediepte toe.
De iris is het diafragma van het menselijk oog.
- De Weerwaterbrug
De Weerwaterbrug in Almere is ontworpen om een verbinding te leggen voor voetgangers en fietsers tussen het Lumière Park en het Floriade eiland, over een uitloper van het stadsmeer, het Weerwater. Daarnaast vormt het onderdeel van het rondje Weerwater, een (sport) track die uiteindelijk in 2026 helemaal rond het Weerwater moet lopen Het ontwerp is van architectenbureau ZJA. De feitelijke bouwwerkzaamheden zijn gestart in juni 2020 en de brug is begin oktober 2021 geopend. Lengte (van oever tot oever): circa 250 meter, breedte: 6,60 meter tussen de leuningen, doorvaarthoogte: 4.25 meter.
- Het Bospad
De binnendoor weg hier naar toe was via het/een bospad. Maar misschien heb je het bruggetje benaderd via het Tuschinskypad.
Abraham Icek Tuschinski (Brzeziny, 14-05-1886 – Auschwitz, 17-09-1942) was een vermaard Joods-Pools-Nederlandse bioscoopexploitant, en slachtoffer van de Holocaust. Hij is de oprichter van de Tuschinski-theaters. In 1911 opende hij zijn eerste van zijn vier Rotterdamse bioscopen: Thalia, Cinema Royal, Scala en Olympia. Tien jaar later, op 28 oktober 1921, opende hij aan de Reguliersbreestraat in Amsterdam zijn beroemdste bioscoop, Theater Tuschinski. Theater Tuschinski werd gebouwd in verschillende stijlen: Amsterdamse School, jugendstil en art deco.
- Het Insectenhotel Filmwijk
Je staat nu bij het laatste punt en bent 1 letter/cijfer verwijdert van de oplossing van de bonus. Het Insectenhotel is gesponsord door een transporteur en daar gaat de laatste vraag ook over...
Onderweg naar dit laatste puntje kwam je nog langs het Mannus Frankenpad.
Mannus H.K. Franken (Deventer, 6 februari 1899 – Lochem, 1 oktober 1953) was een Nederlands filmregisseur en documentairemaker.Franken was een pionier op het gebied van de documentaire film. Hij was een van de oprichters van de Filmliga en het avant-garde Filmtheater de Uitkijk. De film Regen, die hij in 1929 samen met Joris Ivens maakte, behoort tot de Canon van de Nederlandse film. Met Ivens maakt hij ook de film Branding (1929). Franken heeft ook documentaires gemaakt in het vooroorlogse Nederlands-Indië: onder andere Pareh, het lied van de rijst in 1936 en Tanah Sabrang, land van de overkant (1939). Met fotograaf en filmmaker J.C. Mol maakte hij de speelfilm Djaoeh dit mata.

The final location is ideal for working with lumiere, diaphragm and, if you are old-school, celluloid. Don't hesitate to leave a nice photo plate with your log
Be careful, make sure you can search unseen, log and store the cache in the same place, out of sight and well closed.
ps. You must physically log this cache, i.e. in the logbook on site. In other words, online logs not found in the log are invalid and will be periodically deleted.
Adventure Lab Cache Lumière park
Besides the fact that lumiere is French for light, it refers here of course to the Lumière brothers;
The Lumière brothers were French businessmen and film pioneers. With the invention of the cinématographe, the world's first projection device, they were one of the founders of cinematography. Louis Lumière is often called "the father of cinema".
And so an appropriate name for this park that is sandwiched between Filmwijk and the Weerwater. The park has undergone a major overhaul to further shape the 'Weatherwater round' for the sports enthusiasts among us.
But you can just walk through this simple Adventure Lab Cache, it's a nice round through the park of about 2 to 2.5 km.
- The Hill
Coming from the Lumièrepad you walk up the hill via the Celluliodpad.
Celluloid is a group of chemical compounds based on nitrocellulose and camphor plus dyes and excipients. In the late 1880s, celluloids for photographic films were developed. Hannibal Goodwin and the Eastman Company both acquired a patent for a celluloid film. Goodwin eventually won his patent infringement lawsuit against the Eastman Kodak Company. Anyway, the importance was not so much in the photographic film versus the photographic plate, but in the significance of the film for capturing moving images.
You are now at the hill with some play equipment and a nice view on top.
- The Lumière Beach

- De Weerwaterbrug / ' The Weatherwater Bridge'
The Weerwaterbrug in Almere was designed to provide a connection for pedestrians and cyclists between Lumière Park and Floriade Island, across a spur of the city lake, the Weerwater. It is also part of the Weerwater circuit, a (sports) track that should eventually run all the way around the Weerwater in 2026. The design is by ZJA architectural firm. The actual construction work started in June 2020 and the bridge was opened in early October 2021. Length (from bank to bank): approximately 250 metres, width: 6.60 meters between the railings, vertical clearance: 4.25 metres.
- The Forest Path
The inland road to here was via a forest path. But you may have approached the bridge via the Tuschinsky path.
