Geocache Description:

2020. Huh. It's been … different. Not many new countries lit up on geocachers' stats pages this year. Since it's unlikely that you've done much real world travelling lately, this series will take you to some interesting locations around the world.

Many travellers are hunters. Hunters for UNESCO World Heritage Sites, that is. And why not? World Heritage Sites are only designated if they have global cultural, historical, scientific or another form of significance. The sites are judged to contain "cultural and natural heritage considered to be of outstanding value to humanity".

Africa is for travellers who are looking for adventure and don't mind getting off the beaten path. The continent offers an incredible diversity of choices for education and leisure.

Enjoy this journey of sites that were designated by UNESCO before 2020!
