This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
Some history
The former Peterborough Baptist Church property is now privately owned. The original church was constructed in 1883. Prior to the erection of the church building, services were conducted in the local school from 1880. Due to the increasing congregation additions were made to the original building in 1893, 1899, 1911 and on the 13/11/1913 the Tennyson Hall was opened, having been constructed by the Young Men's Bible Class.
Originally the info was sourced from a plaque on the fence post which disappeared in August 2024 to find GZ a simple observation is now required.
