This is our 1st ever hide. A simple park and grab in an open, high muggle area.
I grew up in this area and the kids enjoy the playground nearby. There is a skate park here as well as a remote control car track.
Guest Park used to be a 40 acre dairy farm, started by Joseph Guest who arrived in Australia from Yorkshire in 1885. The Guest's had 6 kids, 2 of which started a bakery/cake shop in the area in 1928 in the midst of the Great Depression. Guest's Cakes was a great treat for me as a kid and many of the oldies would remember this place fondly.
*We had to move the location and create a new cache as the old one was muggled*. This is version #3. No need to remove cache entirely...just unscrew.
New cache is now of the magnetic variety.
The execution of this cache is not as nice as i wanted, but its a start. The cache is a micro tube inside something else. Once you sign the log, please push the tube as hard as you can back in place, then close the safety latch.
You will need:
- tweezers
- something thin to poke with (think a coathanger wire - not more than 10cm long).
- strong fingers to manuever the safety device
Stay tuned for more.
