Geocache Description:

———

Situated on the banks of the Red River, the Francophone village of St. Adolphe has played an important role in the history of French-speaking Manitoba. The village was settled by the Métis families in the middle of the nineteenth century. Today, the village is growing: its pork and chicken industries are developping, and more and more families are moving from Winnipeg to call St. Adolphe their home.
