Return of Bee Hide Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Darwin473: Unfortunately, the cache container has been vandalised beyond repair. Possibly a frustrated cacher, most likely a random drunk idiot. I had been searching for a suitable container for the last few months with no luck, in case this one was damaged or to create a similar one somewhere else. I'm not going to be able to repair this one.

This container had a good run as two caches for two different CO's, but it's time to free up this spot for someone else. Archiving.

Geocache Description:

Buzz and Bumbles are back! Help Bumbles find his way back to the hive. This is a two-stage Multi cache.

At WP1 you are looking for a discretely hidden plastic tube, within which you will find Buzz with some numbers to help Bumbles find the hive. There is a strip with ten numbers on it - A B C D E F G H I J

You will find WP2 (Final) at: S 12° 27.ABC E 130° 50.DEF

When you reach WP2, it has a padlock on it. The combination to the padlock is GHIJ.

The cache is hidden in plain sight, and the container is a 3L Sistema inside the outer camouflage. The logbook is an actual logbook, so remember to bring your stickers or stamp if you use them. Feel free to use a whole page to write your log entry if you desire, or just a single line if you prefer.

This cache was originally Bee Hide set up by TiedyeSmileys in 2012 but was archived in 2018. After accidentally finding it in late 2020, I wanted to resurrect this popular cache and contacted the CO who gave me his blessing. It is easily accessible on foot and within casual walking distance of the Esplenade. At WP2, GPS reception is a bit spotty, but your GPS does not need to be super-acurate to find.

If you have difficulty with the padlock, make sure you are lining up the numbers with the correct markings as there are two sets of lines. Please re-set the code to 0000 when you're finished. In the event that you find any issues with the cache, please log a Needs Maintenance and describe the issue so that I can sort it out.
