LBS=Leveling Benchmark Series
This series will contain 13 benchmarks set by Japanese Government in northen Taiwan
泛台中都會區曾經有三個水準點留存下來，分別位於豐原、台中一中附近與本寶所在地潭子。不過隨著都市開發的進行，另兩個水準點都在近幾年消失無蹤，潭子9745號水準點也成為台中唯一倖存的水準點。
此水準點位於潭子加工區郵局後方，從大門進入後向右轉即可見到原點。水準點的保存情況非常良好，頂部的圓珠與刻字都清晰可見。來拜訪本寶的話可以順便見識這駐守此地一百多年的測量基石的丰采。
In the Taichung Metropolitan Area,there are three Leveling Benchmark that being survived. They are located near Fengyuan, Taichung First Senior High School, and Tanzi where this cache is located. However, with the progress of urban development, the other two Leveling Benchmark have disappeared in recent years, and the Tanzi No. 9745 Leveling Benchmark has become the only surviving Leveling Benchmark in Taichung.
This Leveling Benchmark is located behind the post office of Tanzi Processing Zone. After entering the gate, turn right and you will see the Benchmark. The preservation of the leveling Benchmark is very good. If you come to visit this cache, you can see the graceful bearing of this measuring Benchmark that has been stationed here for more than 100 years.
