Geocache Description:

This series commemorates my 50+ years of snowmobiling and the 20 snowmobiles my family and I had fun on during that time. In 1967, our family started snowmobiling in Syracuse, New York. Back then we would ride on Oneida Lake, or any field we could get permission to ride on. A special thanks to Mark & Glenn for helping me with this series.

This sled was our 9th sled we purchased it used in 1982 after we sold the Evinrude RC35Q. We still had the Everest 500 at the time. The Nuvik was power by a 339cc fan-cooled Rotax power plant putting out a bogie-melting 32 horsepower. I seem to recall that my Dad bought it because my Mom wanted to drive a smaller, lighter machine than the Evinrude or the Everest. Moto-Skis were often referred to as the “Orange Ski-Doo” due to the fact that Bombardier bought out Moto-Ski in 1980. I only drove this sled a few times so I don't remember much about it. I preferred riding the Everest 500 due to the bigger engine.

Congratulations to Bandit35757 on the FTF!
