This series commemorates my 50+ years of snowmobiling and the 20 snowmobiles my family and I had fun on during that time. In 1967, our family started snowmobiling in Syracuse, New York. Back then we would ride on Oneida Lake, or any field we could get permission to ride on. A special thanks to Mark & Glenn for helping me with this series.
This was our 14th sled. We purchased it new, just after we sold the pair of Safari 377s. This sled was purchased for my Mom to drive, since she started to prefer lightweight machines. It had a 340cc fan-cooled engine producing 35 horsepower. The light weight chassis and IFS (independent front suspension) made this machine a blast to ride. I believe since it was called the “Deluxe” it had electric start. Reverse was not needed on this sled, because you could just pick up the back end and swing it around with relative ease.
Congratulations to Bandit35757 on the FTF!
