If the lake is closed please be aware that this does not include the public footpath. When the lake is closed parking near Dorney Loop #No 1 is also closed and parking on the road can be dangerous. The Car park near Dorney loop #No 10 is often still open but with time restrictions often closing at 3.30pm. Please check the signs.
It has been reported on a local facebook group that a nest of Adders has been found Close to Boveney Church #no 11 in the loop. For this reason I have added the dangerous animals attribute to this loop.
I have added to the Dorney path to make this into a loop around the lake with a stunning walk along the Thames now included. Please be careful with children and the Water.
Parking can be found at Dorney lake but fees and closures for events may be in place. Please check the website for more information.
This walk can be done with a bike but its not all suitable for strollers. Some of the caches require you to leave the path. You will need tweezers and a pen for some of these caches.
Please be sure to replace the cache back where you found it with the lid securely on.
