General info for this series:
This is State Game Lands, so be sure to wear orange and do not cache during big game season.
Although these are available year round, certain conditions will make some of the caches harder to spot and/or harder to retrieve/replace.
These caches were placed in the fall. Terrain ratings will vary throughout the year.
We are not making you do these caches, so do them at your own risk and please be careful.
Be sure to replace the cache exactly as found.
About this cache:
It took us several tries to find the parking area for this SGL, so we have planted M U L T I S to first bring you to parking and then to the caches. At posted you will see a blue sign on your LEFT. It will be easily visible and readable from your cachemobile.
If it says "Posted…", you are already in the parking area, so park.
If it says "Hunt Safely", drive straight ahead until you come to a parking area.
If it says "Caution, Buried Underground Cable…", turn left before crossing the tracks and drive until you come to a parking area.
If it says: "DIX", turn right immediately after crossing the tracks and drive until you come to a parking area.
At POSTED, there will be a blue sign on your RIGHT. Take the middle digit on the third line and call that A. The cache is located at: 40 44.118 W78 08.0A5. This is a difficult cache to find, thus the difficulty rating. If you don't like finding hard-to-find caches, don't try for this one. Please return it exactly the way you found it.
OK, I'll give a hint:
The cache is a cap cap container, so a metal detector won't help you find it.
