Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series based on the Broadway production, Hamilton: An American Musical which premiered in 2015, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The song, Ten Duel Commandments, recounts a duel that occurred between John Laurens and Major General Charles Lee. The song sets out the ten rules involved in a duel of the era, before the seconds in the duel, Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, convene to attempt to make peace. The song culminates with a countdown, resulting in Laurens non-fatally shooting Lee in the side after Hamilton encourages him to "not throw away his shot", a motif in the show and expression of the time.

This song is a means of educating the audience about the process of a duel and to normalize the event.  This way, when later in the story as Hamilton's son is in a duel and when the duel between Hamilton & Burr occurs, the audience isn't distracted by the extra information and can focus on the powerful scenes which will follow.

This geocache will bridge the geocaches along the Searcy Bike Trail to the campus walking path that goes around to the other side of these sports fields.  There MIGHT be parking nearby once they are done constructing the drive leading to the new soccer building but I wouldn't try to park there yet.  Other parking suggestions are available which can give you access to all of the caches in the area.

You are looking for a container big enough for tiny trade items just a few feet off the trail.  Please return to its exact location & be stealthy if others happen to be out on the trail with you!
