Ha! Ha! We came up the Florence Lake FSR to clean out all of our unfound caches (which we didn't) and ended up dropping a few more to get you to come back to this fun area. You can get to the trailhead with a decent vehicle. The road has some rough spots, but take it easy and you will get there. Watch for the dirt bikes, quads, side-by-sides, 4 wheel drives and bears.
This one is quite a slog to get to... but the view is worth it! There is no trail from the logging road, but depending on your choice of route and the weather, it can be really hard or extremely hard.
